Priyanka Chopra’s father-in-law fulfils ladkewala duties; distributes sweets to paparazzi during Siddharth Chopra’s Mehendi ceremony- Watch

Priyanka Chopra is currently having a ball of a time in India as she is enjoying her brother Siddharth Chopra’s wedding. She arrived in India with daughter Malti and her in-laws and has been sharing glimpses of the joyous moments. While the Haldi ceremony was a fun-filled affair, Mehendi function was also a vibrant one. However, one moment that stole the show was Priyanka Chopra’s father-in-law, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr, taking part in the traditional ‘ladkewala’ duties and gave sweets.

For the Mehendi ceremony, Priyanka chose to ditch the traditional green-hued lehenga for her and instead opted for a gorgeous white-floral gown. Her outfit featured pretty colourful floral detailing and she looked like a princess straight out of fairytale. Priyanka accentuated her look with a diamond neckpiece with red rubies encrusted in it. She dolled up her look with glamorous makeup.

While she made heads turn, the diva was joined by Nick Jonas’ parents, Paul Kevin Jonas and Denise Jonas. After posing PeeCee’s father-in-law took a moment to thank the paparazzi, on behalf of his daughter-in-law, for being kind and patient at the event. As a kind and loving gesture, he also distributed sweets among the shutterbugs.

Ahead of Mehendi ceremony, Priyanka’s brother’s Haldi ceremony took place where the fam-jam was seen following yellow colour theme. In a video that has been posted on a paparazzi page, Priyanka was seen dancing to Bollywood songs like Maahi Ve and Chhaiya Chhaiya and bringing out her desi girl energy.

For those unversed, Siddharth Chopra found love with actress Neelam Upadhyaya, going public with their relationship in 2019 at the Ambanis’ Ganesh Puja. The couple got engaged last year and are now set to tie the knot in a few days.

If the reports are to be believed, Priyanka Chopra has been roped in as the leading lady in South superstar Mahesh Babu’s next, tentatively titled SSMB29. The project will be made under the direction of RRR maker SS Rajamouli. She recently wrapped up shoot of Citadel 2.
